tried to ask about the best way to chase an unpaid auction item but the ebay representative wanted person details to verify who I am.
this is the first time i was asked and i had to decline, if they cant identify me from my login (they can see my account) then I dont see why it was needed and havent been able to find out what ebays policy actually is for talking with customers.
Open an Unpaid case for each and every unpaid item ... return to the case on 'day 5' and close it if still unpaid to recover your Selling fee ...
Timewaster gets an account defect/strike which restricts their future buying activities severely and neither party can leave damaging feedback ... you can then safely relist ... It does work but unless the case is completed and closed correctly, it will just 'time out' without any 'buyer ' penalties ... block unwanted bidders here >
