change in bidding format

I hadn't bid on anything for a while. I bid last week and the whole format has changed. It is slow, you have to put your bid in on 2 occasions and there is no countdown. Anyone else found it a problem?

I am guessing you are using app, lots of glitches with it,

I use laptop & works as normal when bidding.
