change from private to business account

I want to change from private to business account but not open a shop
Is it possible to do this (and is the customer service for sellers always so bad? I can't get any response from online or phone line help desk? )

No you don't have to have a Shop. Just go to Help and Contact at the top of the Page and Enter "Upgrade My Account."

I know that. Was just being helpful in case she wanted to explore all Options.

it is very easy to upgrade to a business account

go to:-

my ebay >>> account tab >>>personal information >>> account type >>> edit

you don't need to subscribe to a shop until you have enough listings to make it financially viable
