I recently bought a twist and shape exerciser, collected in person and paid cash, the seller cancelled the order as it says it's unpaid in my ebay..Ebay sent me a mail saying there will be some buying restrictions on my account and was remineded about the none payment policy...The seller has cancelled the order so they don't have to pay fees, is my guess. Now I'm concerned there will be a strike on my account as a none payer..Ebay didn't even bother to ask me my side of the story and just sent me the none paying email laying down the law...unreal..
That is the new ebay non payment function
Your seller should have marked it as Paid and Dispatched
Ebay is supposed to send a code for the seller to scan or a number but I have not heard of one
member yet that has received it.
If they seller does not mark as Paid then ebay send messages to remind you to pay
If it is not paid on the 4th day ebay or the seller can cancel the sale
as has happened and the seller gets their fees back
It did say on one of the policies for non payment then the seller could print off the invoice and get the buyer to sign
Personally I think both parties should do that as some proof that the item was collected.
Try contacting ebay at the top of the page under SEller help
Scroll down to see the options of call me back or chat with us and appeal
Do let us know what they say
Non payment strikes do cause problems for you to buy off many sellers
