I recently (22nd Feb) purchased a new chair to use with my computer price. The ad titlle is :- "Office chair, executive managereal chair, reclining comfortable with footrest." I put the chair together and tried it and it was ok. I left 5star feedback. The next day my wife tried the chair and wanted to try the footrest. The actual footrest is on two sliders. She slid the footrest out ad sat on the chair. The "footrest" goes just behind the knees. When she put her legs on the rest there was a cracking noise. I checked under the seat and saw that the seat had cracked the full width of the chair. The Seat evidently isnt thick enough to be able to use the rest. I sent a message to the seller (Chinese) and eventually got a reply asking fior photos. The photos cant show the front of the seat moving up and down. I did a video but ebay wouldnt let me send it. I then managed to get an email address which enabled me to send a message. The company replied asking for my ID and photos. and they said they will solve the problem. I told them it was only the seat that was damaged not all of the chair. That's two weeks ago and I've heard nothing since. What can I do about get it fixed or a refund.
Instead of dealing with a seller who will do nothing except try to get you out of time, why don't you use te tools ebay provde. Have you never read the Money Back Guarantee TOP RIGHT of every listing. The MBG is only for 30 days so you need to open a Not As Described case asap. The MBG is not a warranty, Warranties are between you and the seller.
