basket wrong amount

Several times I have had invoices sent from sellers and the Ebay Cart gives a different amount and will not update or cancel. Why is this happening and how to FIX IT?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the problem is when a seller sends an invoice for a reduced payment for an item, ie special price.

The cart does not accept the discounted price and both the Cart & Ebay Emails demand the full amount.

If you are buying from Sellers based or registered outside the UK, be aware that an additional 20% VAT fee is now due >

VAT is still having to be paid on items even though "Seller's agents" in this country are acting for sellers abroad and vat is only brought up when at the payment point which is unfair to UK sellers!

Easy check before buying > Item location is seen under Postage in listings ... Feedback profile shows Seller current Based location ... clicking through to their 'Items for sale /View listings' links it will show their Country of registration under Seller information in left column ... often very different and even if item is showing as being sent from a UK location, if either member is anywhere outside the UK, it will trigger 20% VAT import fees.
