You have exceeded your current Feedback revision request limit' - Buyer wants to change the Feedback

Hi,

A customer of mine never received an item, sent no message and then just left negative feedback. So I decided to give full refund. They now want to change the feedback.

But Ebay is saying 'You have exceeded your current Feedback revision request limit. You may select 0 Feedback revision requests at this time.'

Can Ebay override this as the Buyer has sent an Ebay Message clearly stating that they want the feedback changing to positive. Thank you.

EBay only allows sellers to send 5 revision requests for every 1,000 feedbacks they receive. Once this limit is reached it can't be changed.

I think the 5 in a thousand limit is ridiculously small. So many buyers leave wrong feedback by mistake, or before giving the seller a chance to resolve the problem.

You could try asking customer support to increase it, but there's no guarantee that they will.

There is a limit to the number of feedback revisions a seller can use.

Perhaps message the buyer and ask if they would kindly call ebay Customer Support from the Help & Contact tab,  explain the situation,  and ask them to remove the negative feedback.
