Wrong case opened

Hi By mistake I opened a return request but I had to open a request regarding my item because my seller told me to get a refund because someone hacked his account. I can’t understand what to do now. Thanks

Use Help & Contact to phone eBay and explain your problem to them.

They can change the case to a Not received case for you.

If the seller doesn't refund, you can ask eBay to step in on the 9th day.

You need to Close the Return Case. Then Open an Item Not Received Case. Doesn't matter what excuse the Seller is claiming. You have 30 days from the Estimated Delivery Date.

Its only possible to Open a Return case after a Not received case.
If a Return case is closed, A Not received case cannot be opened, therefor OP needs to contact CS.

@shaanekam1 It is theoretically possible to open an Item Not Received Case after Closing a Return. You would need to Phone Customer Support though and ask them to do it for you. Your best option is to close the Return in Ebay and Open an Item Not Received Case with PayPal. Escalate after 2 days.
