Why is there no way to complain to ebay?

During my last order a pop up message on the website at the time of payment led to a scam by a third party. I realised this so managed to put a stop on my credit card after the scammers had taken a small amount to verify the card.  I contacted eBay after over an hour on the phone and gave full details.  They promised that the security team would follow up.  I haven't had any follow up.  I have had to do a lot of work to change my credit card and to check that no further payments had been made against my account.

EBay must have a direct contact system for complaints on the website.  What are they scared off?

This has nothing to do with ebay, it is a Pop Up Ad, and happens quite frequently, and members who give card or bank details have their accounts raided. 

The answer is to install an Ad Blocker, (Google it) which prevents these ads.  Ebay cannot stop these ads, you have to do it.

I currently use AVG Adblock.

It wasn’t an ad it was a competition. They do not pop up on my well secured PC. eBay admitted on the phone that they have a problem with them on their website and would fold it up.
The point is not about the nature of the complaint it is about the absence of any avenues to deal with complaints.
