I have tried to return an item that arrived broken.
They have confirmed my return and sent an email with the return label but when I click on the label it doesn't print, just goes to sign in then home page.
This is becoming a nightmare.

No need for 'to and fro' messages, have you opened a formal 'Not as described' eBay case within 30 days from delivery which the seller cannot ignore ? ...
