you need to upgrade to a business,

ebays CS don't know their own rules!

Unfortunately there's no "a view of building a business in the U.K".

you are a business seller trading as a private seller in violation of eBay rules and the law.

You are also violating data law by passing on customers details to third parties for example to wholesalers.

As I thought before posting my initial post I have double checked and Spoken with eBay. I am not violating any rules or policies as a private seller and they will advise me to upgrade to a business account when they feel it’s time is right.

Just shows ebay cs dont know their own rules, if yiu buy to sell on you MUST register as business.

Before you do list though you must register as a business

If you make to sell or buy to sell you are a business for ebay and HMRC

YOu have to register before you start. Private accounts are for people selling their own unused items. A business account is for members who are making to sell or buying to sell. Did you read the link. It is for ebay and HMRC
