Updating payment details

eBay have been asking me to update payment details.  When I try and do this, I hit a problem because the name on my eBay account is not the same as my bank account (I have a joint bank account.)  I can't change my eBay account name to joint names.  At the moment the monthly direct debits for fees are going through as normal on the joint bank account.  eBay ask for my details to be updated by 2nd July but I just don't know what to do.  Any thoughts?

It does say on the ebay policy that the account has to be in the same name as the account holder

Many are opening new bank account just for ebay, I did mine online without issue.

Yes I agree, I have always had an account that I use for online. Much safer that way
