UNAUTHORIZED PAYMENT

EBay made an unauthorized payment through PayPal to Microsoft inthe amountof £59.99

I contacted EBay and they inform me that they have no record of this.  I informed PayPal and they told me to 

contact Microsoft as it was not their problem.  By now I am feeling a little confused since both EBay and PayPal boast of the protection of all buyer accounts and their protection from Fraudulent transactions.   Here they both have passed the buck and I am out of pocket by £59.99.  The payment was made by PayPal as shown by the entry on their records and also shown on my bank account statement...but they sit back and do nothing?

Any ideas as to what I should be doing next to get my funds refunded apart from filing a claim based in Fraud with the CPS naming both companies as Defendants?

There is not a hope of persuading the CPS/Inactionfraud to do anything for £60 I'm afraid

But perhaps...just perhaps I am not the only person being scammed by Microsoft and others. This is the way scammers seem to work if they take a little it adds up to a lot.

Are you suggesting thatFRAUD is not FRAUD below a certain amount.

You need to try and find out why the money was taken. Do you have any subscriptions that are an annual charge like an X box or Microsoft Office annual subscription that is £59.99
