I purchased items from a seller every thing was good and now when I want to do another order it keeps coming up with this message

• This seller won't sell to buyers that do not meet their requirements. 
• I do not know why as it will not let me purchase any item from this lady
• can anyone explain why I can not get in touch with her to buy items.

If you don't meet the requirements, its doubtful the seller will receive your messages either.

Either the seller as tightened up their requirements or you have an account defect from somewhere.

If you experience problems with other sellers, its your account. Defects last for 12 months.

I have no problem with any other purchases from ebay sellers I know I have no account defect as I have got 100% I shall try and speak to ebay tomorrow as there is no excuse why I can not place a order with her, but many thanks for trying to help me.

She might have added you to her block list either, could be by mistake.

Found out she blocked me because I did a feed back that she did not like, it was only a remark about not getting much for your money I think she is a bit childish.

Then I'm not surprised she blocked you....after all why would she want to risk more poor feedback from you & why would you want to buy from a seller where you "do not get much for your money"

One of the largest catalogue style retailers in the UK which also has an eBay shop will ban anyone who leaves a poor feedback comment ....actually understandable as such feedback can damage their business on eBay

Sorry, but I was only saying what I would have said in a shop, I still gave her 5 stars just the same as she did for me you should read some remarks for example amazon and mine was nothing compared to some on their if I was that unhappy I would have not purchased them do we not have the right to freedom speech.

Yes of course you do but the seller also has a right to choose not to sell to you as you were unhappy last time or would not have left the comment

What you say in a shop is not there for every customer who comes after you to see !!  Feedback comments are & can have long term damage to a seller reputation

Sometimes it is better simply not to leave feedback at all rather than a negative comment on a positive green dot

Many of the sellers you have left feedback for could actually have had your feedback comments removed if they realised as it is an eBay policy breach to leave a negative comment on a positive green dot

It is also worth mentioning that some sellers will actually look at the feedback a potential buyer has left for other sellers in the past, and on that basis alone may decide to add that buyer to their block list.....so they can find themselves blocked from purchasing from sellers with whom they have never had any prior dealings with

Why 4 months later are you picking fault with me? as far as I am concerned this is over and done it I did say SORRY to her as I did not realise she took offence to what I said I am the one who lost out as I can not buy from her any more.

Not picking fault....just pointing out why the seller is justified in their actions....you came here asking & we are simply pointing out why this has happened......in order to do this it required looking back at the feedback you have left for others & unfortunately there are many cases where it breaches eBay policy......

Many buyers do not realise just how damaging negative comments (even left on green dots) can be to a sellers account.....unless they are regular sellers themselves......

As I said....since buyers can only ever receive positive feedback, sellers will often look at the feedback a buyer has left for other sellers & seeing non positive comments will often result in buyers being blocked by sellers without ever having dealt with them.......this is not picking fault.....simply advising that you may well meet other seller blocks in future & are aware of one possible reason 😞

If a seller chooses to block you then there is nothing eBay can do......

I understand that now but why did you have to bring this up after 4 months, if you was to check her feed back she has had 1 negative remark in the last year and this was not me so I wonder if she has blocked that person, I still gave her 5 stars.

I have only brought it up after 4 months as you queried why the seller blocked you.....until you did that we had no reason to look.....we are not eBay....there is nobody here from eBay.....we are just members like you.......

I'm pretty sure the person who left a negative also got blocked....

You giving 5 stars makes no difference as anyone looking at the sellers feedback cannot see the stars you left....just the comment.....they are likely based on the comment to think you meant to leave on a red negative or grey neutral rather than a green positive
