TRYING TO GIVE A REFUND BUT new system refuses to or bank refuses to give it

Hi All,

 

I have been trying to give a refund, but the new system is refusing to give it, using my card as source, recently added a new bank account...

 

any ideas on whats going wrong here???

 

even passes authentication... used different cards but nothing.

 

my fail message is always 

 

Your refund did not go through. Please try again later or contact us.

 

The new payment system is awful, way to complex

Why are you trying to refund? Has the buyer opened a Case with Ebay?

 

That is how refunds should be made, as far as I am aware there is no provision for making payments through Managed Payments except through a case, when if insufficient money in MP then the balance would be taken from Bank Account by DD.

 

Unless you use correct procedures it is wrong to critise a system which as far as I am concerned has been running very smoothly.

after trying numorous cards that all got blocked, and I had to spend hours unblocking and others gave me new cards, finally got to adding one new card and the same problem occured, no refund.

 

But I have received a minus figure in my payments section and a note of an INTERNAL TRANSFER in process, this could be the result I am looking for.

With all the negativity my account is going to get I dont care about that I am just relieved that something has moved and the eBayers money is returning, I hope...

apparently it is a tecnical issue, will have to wait for the eBay IT crew to sort it out for me
