Sold to first bidder!

My recent listing for 7 day auction beginning 28/01/2021 has sold to the first bidder. There is no buy it now price on the listing I can see. Don't want to lose loyalty, have I made a mistake I can't see? it's not simple to view loistings that are ended. Any help?

It isn't clear what you're concerned about?

You listed the boots as an auction with a £9.00 buy it now (BIN) offer. Someone bought them for £9.00 the next day.

You can view the bidding history - which confirms it was a BIN purchase - by clicking on the bidding history (next to the final sale price).

Many buyers confuse a BIN with a reserve price. A BIN price isn't a reserve, it's an invitation to buy at that price. If the BIN offer is accepted, the auction ends.

Paying to add a BIN offer is often pointless, as once any bid is placed, however low, the BIN option disappears and the sale continues as an auction. Your boots could have sold for the £1.99 starting price. If you don't want to risk this, the best and cheapest answer is to start the auction at the lowest price you would be willing to accept.

It is just as simple to see ended listings as active listings.

Down the left side of your pages, SOLD ITEMS / COMPLETED ITEMS.

You must explore the pages, it makes life so much easier as all the information is there.

The Clarks Brown boots were listed as an auction starting at £1.99 with a Buy It Now for £9.00
