Hello everyone...
I've been eBaying for 16 years and witnessed what was a fantastic site fiddled with, messed about with and 'improved' over the interveningyears. It was perfectly good in the first place.
Now, its latest 'improvement' is to have set the search crieria to the 'world'. I don't want to buy from the world: I want to buy as locally as possible. Does anyone know how I can set my own default search criteria to the UK only, instead of having to type it in for each and every flipping search? It doesn't appear as an option to set as standard.
Any help gladly received - thank you.
Jude
you don't have to type anything,
you just need to tick a box, hardly labour intensive!
overseas sellers pay to have their items shown on ebay UK so ebay would be in breach of contract if they allowed UK only as the default
if you only want items listed as in the UK (this doesn't stop overseas sellers with UK distribution points) you just need to tick the UK only box in the left hand column
No....eBay is a GLOBAL site....you can only seeitems AVAILABLE to the UK
Even the serach filter only allows you to filter to goods located in the UK
Yu have never had the option to search UK only sellers in the 22 years I have been on eBay
