I bought an expensive item, the seller said he would only post when eBay announced it was being processed. Instead he waited until he had cleared funds. He said he had posted on Thursday but Parcelforce said he posted the following Monday which the last day it should have arrived by. In the meantime this seller has sent me harassing and bizarre emails, including threats (the police have been informed).
it still hasn't arrived but I think it will in a few days. Given all the unpleasantness I no longer want the item. Am I in my rights to ask for a refund, and return at the sellers expense? The arrival deadline has passed.
As the estimated delivery date has passed you can open a case for Item Not Received in Resolution Centre
and escalate after 3 days.
If it arrives before the case is settled you can change it to a Not as Described and seller would have to issue prepaid label for return and refund within 3 days of receipt.
