i have e mailed seller but had no reply. How can I get the difference in postage back? This is such shoddy ebaying.
Hi, don't know how to reply so will put it here, sorry.
Technically it was one day late (according to expected delivery). However, I bought it on a Sat, was notified that it was posted on Monday but after receiving on Friday post date was Weds. Why press the despatched button when it clearly hadn't been. And if something had happened, why not tell me? And I have had no apology.
And no, mistakes are not shoddy practice. But charging excess, refusal to reply or apologise are. We all make mistakes. I have upgraded to first for buyers in the past when I have been prevented from quick despatch and let them know why.
Regarding paying for first and only sending second, she refuses to reply to the question. EBay told me to leave negative feedback and for that she left a comment saying I was a bad buyer! Anyway, ebay did remove that for me!
i have never had anything but positive feedback as a seller and buyer and this is the very first time I left negative. It's just a shame that policy allows dishonesty.
Caveat emptor! It's a shame as there are many more honest people on here than dishonest 😔
Although you are right to be annoyed there is no dispute on ebay for postage
If the seller is not responding then there is nothing you can do to get the extra back
They may have made a msitake when they posted but then should have got back to you
What did the sellers Dispatch time say on th eitem description
If you recieved your item and it is as described then there is nothing you can do in the way of a dispute but you have. feedback to leave but be careful what you say
