Hello. I bought an item from a seller, and they sent me a different item (and insinuated that I was "confused" when buying it). I opened a return request, and it was accepted. The seller then sent me a postage label for the incorrect weight - the label was for 2kg, and the item weighs 4kg (which they would know, as they sent the item to me in the first place).
I have contacted the seller over and over again, asking for the correct postage label, but they are obviously ignoring my messages. I have asked Ebay to step in, but they keep saying "it's up to me to send the item back now", as I have already received a postage label. There seems to be no way to get the correct postage label from the seller, so is there anything I can do in this case?
Thanks!
Jim
This is common - the label comes through eBay who do this all the time it seems. It may be that the listing did not have the correct weight ...
Contact eBay customer service through "help and contact at top of page and they should send the correct weight label.
In future do not contact the seller at all. Just open a case; it's what you think that counts!
