I bought a power meter in December 2016. The meter measures power consumption of plugged in appliances. The meter no longer works. The manufacturer has a one year warranty for the product. The manufacturer wants me to contact the ebay seller about the warranty. The seller did not reply to 3 emails sent . What can I do?
Nothing through ebay or paypal, you'll have to try trading standards or CA.
He won't reply after 10 months. Ebays money back guarantee is only good for 30 days, for items found to be defective on arrival - not 10 months later.
Ebay don't get involved in warranty issues so you will need to deal with this yourself. If it was a UK business seller you could contact trading standards, but if it was an overseas, or private seller there is nothing you can do.
