anyone who is silly enough to pay the scalpers prices need their heads examined!

Wonderfull but what about ebays moral integrity and not allowing those
profiteers on ebay . Its not a matter of dont buy from scalpers . Ebay
shouldnt be allowing these practices in the first place

No the immoral act of profiteering ebay needs to deal with every scalper by
removing them from the site . There is nothing wrong with a little profit
but chargeing more than twice the rrp is a scumbags trick and it needs to
be stamped on NOW

it isn't up to ebay to decide how much profit a seller can make


we sell in the collectibles market and we sell items for a lot more than they were worth when they were first sold, our buyers decide whether to pay our prices or not,

Im not talking about antiques or rare items thats just semantics and it is
Ebays site therefore it is Ebays responsibility to put a stop to the
practices of the scalpers profiteers . So trying to be clever and blame the
buyers is a bit low . When the owner of the site has a contractual
responsibility to its customers to prevent practices like the profiteers
have used .

the items in question are rare, because not enough were issued by the manufacturer, that is why people are willing to pay over the odds for them,

the manufacturers know how many items they should issue but always provide under this amount and create the problem, they are the ones who should be changing their practises.

I was wating for this reply . All I can assume is you are one
that are doing rhis so theres no point talking to you . I hope all scalpers
find natural justice and suffer for thier lack of moral fibre and general
lowlife tactics and nobody buys from them now im going to find every post
on ebay and put in a complaint for profiteering . And I sujest every gamer
to do the same

if ebay stop them from selling here they will just move elsewhere

Dude if you think that was rude you must have lived a sheltered life and to
try and justify what they are doing makes you one of those if you support a
corrupt regime it therefore follows that you yourself are corrupt . All
scalpers should be barred from Ebay by Ebay like I say they have a
contractual obligation to protect thier customers

There are report links on every listing so report

They also have been removing items that are price gouging if reported

There are many scams on ebay but buyers have to be responsible and read listings carefully

If there is a problem then they use the money back guarantee

It is ebays responsibility not ours to stop these people and items . when a
seller is listing more than twice the price of a new product it is obviouse
there buissnes is not legitimate and they are profiteering. So these
products should never have been allowed to be advertised on ebay in the
first place . With thier immoral practices they are ruining birthdays and
peoples holidays with ebays help . So its time to stand on your morals and
stop these practices

Why would anyone want to pay twice the price of an item.
That is their choice.

Ebay has the policy there so that you or any member can report price gouging
Have you reported any?. Several of us on here have and also phoned ebay to report.
Ebay took note and has removed some of them as fast as they do more appear

Ebay can not police the whole site there are millions of listings

How can they be ruining birthdays and holidays that is ridiculous no one is forcing them to buy.

prevent these scammers and scalpers and profiteers or bring itself into
disrepute.

Ebay does not check any items listed on the site.
They have no way of knowing what an item is worth, only buyers can decide what they are willing to pay,
we got moans from sellers saying why didn't my item, sell, usually because they are asking too much for it.
