Hello,
I am currently sending all my items with postage stamps (if under 100g). I take any items that are heavier than that to my local post office, where they are weighed and I am given proof of postage, so that I can claim, should they go missing. My post office is going to close down in a couple of weeks, so I need an alternative. I do not drive, so am unable to drop my items off at the next nearest post office, which is around 5 miles away. I sell between 20 to 30 items per day, most of these go through the post box, but I do have between 5 and 10 items per day that I take to be weighed, these are a mixture of large letters (items in a large letter box) and of small to medium parcels. I have been looking at Click and Drop as an alternative. I have tried to contact Royal Mail to get more information, but there is a 60 minute wait on the customer service enquiry line. I would be really grateful if anyone has any experience of Click and Drop, and if this is something that I should use? If I use Click and Drop and just drop them in the post box, is there proof of postage? Also, how would I send international items, which I would need proof of postage on, through Click and Drop? Sorry this is such a long email. Any suggestions would be very greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
Alison
Could I suggest that you post on the Business Seller board as there is more traffic there from other business sellers who will have lots of experience of using Click & Drop.
