Returns

Hi

I am a bit confused over the returns postage label. A buyer has requested a return as I listed a size incorrectly. So obviously am happy to refund once item has been returned and pay for return postage. I have never used the label service and it would seem it is mandatory when accepting a return? I don't have a printer and I don't understand the pricing they set? Could anyone shed light on this

Thanks so much in advance

You don't need a printer, the buyer prints their label out that you send them.

If you don't send them one, the buyer can escalate the dispute and get a pre-paid one from eBay. eBay will recharge you for the label.

If the buyer has to escalate the dispute to get a label, you will get a defect against your acciunt and no fee credit for your final value fees.

The buyer should have opened a not as described dispute

You send a pre paid label for the return

WHen they open the dispute yuo get the option to either send an ebay label and they take the money from your paypal or you send a label yourself

If you decide to send your own label then you go to the courier site or Royal Mail site and buy a label

You make sure it is addressed to yourself and once you have done that then you send the label by email to your buyer for them to print out and put on the package
