Returns

Hi a quick question I sold blinds 8ft long to be exact, the buyer tried them but don't fit I asked eBay to confirm.tjeir error they pay to send back which is correct if they click don't fit and it will process the buyer said it won't let him do it as I had non returns now I understand if there was a problem would auto process into a return but this is a don't fit. He says he will just send them back not via ebay them for me to refund is that OK?

All returns and refunds should be made through the resolution centre. The buyer can open a return request, for change of mind returns, or a money back guarantee case for items which don't match the description.

For a return request, the buyer pays for the return and can return it by any service they want, providing it provides a tracking record of delivery. For a MBG case the seller sends a prepaid return label.

In either case the refund will be processed by eBay, also the seller's account credit for their final value fee.

If the buyer doesn't send them back as above you will not get any refund of your fees, and could even end up refunding them twice if they then open a case as well. It has happened.
