Returned item has arrived (tracked) but seller denies it

I bought some very poor quality motorcycle gloves a few weeks ago, which after wearing twice failed, so I returned the gloves (at my own cost, don't ask, I'm annoyed about it too) only to be told by the seller they haven't arrived

i sent by Royal Mail, the parcel was tracked and it was signed for - the seller denies receiving it and won't issue a refubd

eBay are not helping  at all

any suggestions please?

thanks

You have only 30 days to open a formal  'Item not as described' eBay case from delivery date  which a Seller cannot ignore ... enter tracking details and after 3 complete days, escalate the case to eBay and follow the return instructions carefully to completion for a refund in full ... 'to and fro' messages/emails will not do it ! >

Out of time for eBay ... a PayPal case may be accepted ... escalate within2 to 20 days ... worth a try >

Open a case for item not as described from the Resolution Centre.

https://resolutioncenter.ebay.co.uk

The seller has to accept this is 3 days.  Enter the tracking number you have,  this then gives the seller 48 hours to refund you,  when they receive the item,  or notification from eBay,  that the item was posted.

If they do not refund,  then escalate the case,  and eBay will step in and force the refund.
