i sold a TV via Collection only, which they collected but afterwards told eBay it was not as described, eBay gave me no option but to send a return label due as they did not want to travel to return it.
I came back today via Parcelforce damaged due to poor packing by the buyer it was shoved in the box on its side without enough packing, After messaging eBay and sending photos to eBay do not want to know and basically said tough luck
Is there any more I can do about this?
Thanks
Ian
When someone collects the best way is for the buyer to pay cash. Then - in theory at least - the buyer cannot open a "not as described case".
You can try contacting eBay again to see if - as it is damaged - they will not allow the refund but I suspect the chance is not good. They will phone you back or you can do live chat.
Use "help and contact" above
