Return request

Hello, I bought books "very good" quality and they came with yellow stains and bend badly at the back cover. I did official request for the return and seller suddenly refuses to pay for the postage. I can't get ebay involved till I have that request open (at least I can't find how). Should I close this return request and ask ebay to step in that way, as I don't want to sent those books back and then lose money anyways? Many thanks!

Keep that return open, you won't be able to start another one.   You will be able to escalate it to ebay 3 full working days after you started it.   Then as long as the seller is in the UK ebay will reqire them to provide a paid-for return postage label for you to print and use.
