HI, I have requested a return for a faulty item, and the seller has accepted it. There is an email saying they have sent me a return label, but actually it is just their address with a request for me to post back.
Ebay think they have provided a return label, so won't let me take any further steps, but all eBays advice says that the seller should pay for the return. It seems unfair for me to pay for a return for a fauly item.
I have emailed the seller, who is ignoring me, and I can't find a way to contact eBay. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Thanks
Have you opened the correct case? If you just opened a straight return, you have to pay for that fully tracked return postage, so perhaps here, that is why the seller has sent his address only to you.
If you opened the correct case, that is, one for item not as described, that would enforce the seller to pay for that fully tracked return postage label to be sent to you.
Unfortunately if the first case was opened, you cannot close it, and then open the second. You could try claiming with Paypal, see if your item qualifies for their ' Return on Us for free' policy, if not, there too, you pay for that postage.
To contact ebay then top or bottom of the page under Seller help or help and contact
