Return Accepted, now No Refund or Comms from Seller - eBay System Not Allowing Dispute

I recieved an item SNAD last week and asked for a return - the seller accepted immediately and sent me return labels. I sent it back straight away, and tracking shows seller recieved the return on 11th May but he's still not sent the refund.

I've sent him a couple of messages over teh past 4 days, and he's not responded. I know he's around, because he's listing new items and leaving feedback for people.

I've gone on to the returns page to ask eBay to step in. There is no option for this. They say there's a return open, and there's no way of escalating the dispute. They also want me to conform the return, however there's no way of me adding details to the system because the message I recieve is that the tracking number is already in the system.

I've tried to speak to PayPal as that was the payment method. There's no dispute function there - they want me to contact eBay.

Going aroud in circles. How do I get my refund?

eBays system as been extremely slow to update recently.
Now you know the Seller as received it - Wait 6 days (from the date you posted).
If they still haven't refunded & still no option to ask for eBay to step in on the case - Phone eBay cs.

All is well I am glad to see. It is highly unlikely that the seller saw the post!

I'd guess it was just working through the [and his] system. The seller gets six days to refund after return.  There is a dispute system in Paypal but it is down at the bottom in small writing otherwise it does send you back to eBay.

When you use the provided label then the tracking details get entered automatically. EBay's message is less than helpful I feel!

Return to the case, make sure that tracking details are entered and escalate to eBay ... You may be too early as option will only appear after 8 x 24 hour periods complete to the last second from time case opened, so ... 9th. day onwards.
