I've had an email saying my account has been restrict as it's linked to another account , the account they are showing has got to be of an ex partner from about 5 years ago, how can they me linked I'm confused ?
All you can do is phone customer support and explain that you have had no contact for five years, but it's very hard to get a restriction lifted. Some sellers have told us that eBay won't even discuss it.
As to how you became linked, if your partner had the same postal address or used the same compuer / IP number as you this would be the reason.
