Responding to questions

On my listings page I have a number of listings with questions against them. I click the link (number)  and am sent to the messages system, I click the Respond button and I am sent to the same place. There are no unanswered messages.

I answer all questions presented to me when they arrive in my Messages box but over time the number of questions against the listings goes up. Can someone direct me to the correct area to do something about this. The on-line help tells me to go to places that do not exist.

instead of clicking 'respond' use the more actions drop down and just mark them as answered,

there is a glitch in the system that leaves the read banner on questions that you have already answered.

of course not, they never draw attention to any of the glitches!
