You cannot set a reserve for less than £50.00 as £50.00 is the minimum amount that you can set a reserve at. That's why it won't let you list a reserve at £14.00.
To be honest though the reserve function is just a waste of money, as you get charged for using the reserve function even if the item doesn't sell! The best option is to set the auction up with the starting price listed at the minimum price that you would be happy to accept if you only got one bid and the bidder paid for the item. That way because you won't have to pay any reserve fees you'll end up with more of the money from the sale in your own pocket, as opposed to eBay and PayPal's pockets.
