Hi, you can report an item but why not a seller. I have been looking on ebay for a defender for over a year and the amount of fraudulent sellers is frightening. There is an option to report an item but not the seller which most of the time would be a faster way of shutting down several fraudulent items in one go.
Cheers steve
you can report an item but why not a seller.
That's a very good question, and one that has often been asked before. But only eBay could answer it.
It's common for a seller to list multiple numbers of similar fraudulent items, but eBay requires each listing to be reported individually.
You could, of course, suggest this to eBay - except that eBay has "a long-standing policy of not accepting unsolicited suggestions, ideas, or proposals" from members.
As you say there are many fraudulent listings and sellers on ebay
All you can do it to report by the report link on the listing
Ebay does remove them but as fast as they do others appear
It is up to buyers to beware and to check out items properly
You realise they are fraudulent and so should other potential buyers.
