Refused delivery of item as advised for refund. Item seems lost in post will not refund me until tur

Ordered item by mistake got in touch with seller told me to refuse delivery from Royal Mail as would be returned to sender and would receive refund. Item has not been received by seller been over 4 weeks now and will not refund me.

You should not have refused delivery

Was there a return address on the outside of the item. Of course if you refused it then you would not know

If there was not then the RM have no way of returning it immediately

If there is information inside the package then it may eventually return to the seller but it goes to Belfast to be opened.

You should have accepted it and then requested a return which you would send back at your own expense.

You can only do that if the seller has Returns accepted on the listing

All you can do is to open a not received dispute but if it says Refused on the tracking then there is no knowing if ebay will go with your claim. If it is over 30 days from the day of estimated delivery then you will be too late on ebay

Open it in paypal and escalate it as soon as you can but within 20 days

The same applies to paypal that they may not accept the claim if you refused the item
