Refunded items

Hi there,

I recently sold an item but the buyer contacted me a few days after it was due to say it hadn't arrived; I'd already had another message from another buyer to say she had a problem with her stuff (long story but it was her fault).  Anyway, I refunded the buyer - although I now realise I should have waited a couple of days.  Today, I noticed that the buyer has now received the item. I contacted her and have asked her to return it, of which she replied she would if I sent her a return p&p.  I do want my item back but don't want to send her p&p through the post; it could get lost and plus more money to fork out.

My question is how do I go about sending her a return label through eBay; am I able to do this or does she have to do it?  Also, what happens if she doesn't send it back - will eBay refund me?

You cant buy it through ebay

Buy one online from a courier or Royal Mail and send it by email to your buyer.

You make yourself the recipient

You have no way of forcing them to return it once you have refunded

so hope your buyer is honest
