Refund issues

I literally feel like crying, I bought an I phone for £600 and it was a scam and this was over a month ago. I appealed my case and only got a reply from eBay a several weeks ago saying they would sort it out and release my money back. Now a few weeks after that I messaged again and they said they would refund me in the next 48 hours.. now over another week later and nothing! No money in my account and now I can’t seem to contact them on the live chat. I can’t call them because I am abroad and i need this money desperately! Please has anyone got any answers? I’m absolutely furious with eBay and will most likely never ever use this site ever again!

How was it a scam.

Did you receive a faulty item of no item at all?.

What happened as that is important as to how you open a dispute.

If the case is closed on ebay then it is usually too late

 

To contact ebay you have to go to Help and contact at the top of the page then nearest to your problem and there may be phone or chat

Chat is not always available but really if your case was closed without a refund you may be out of luck

 

Try opening the dispute in pyapal and escalating it as soon as you can but within 20 days

 

You have 180 days to open a dispute in paypal.
