Refund for a cancelled item

Hi,

I recently purchased a wardrobe pole, E-Bay informed me the seller had cancelled, I presume they didn't have the item, but they haven't refunded to me.   How long do you have to wait before your can ask E-Bay to get your money back

Depends on how you paid,  as payment goes back to original payment source.

Paying with Paypal funds it goes back to your Paypal account fairly swiftly.

Debit card payment ?  Back to your bank account within 7 days.

Credit card payment ?  Back to that card account,  and it can take up to 30 days.
