Refound problems

Hi 

The seller avoids making a refound, explaining that ebay does not currently alow to make any refounds. 

Does anyone knows about any ebay's problem with refounds?

On the Contary Ebay's Money Back Guarantee is very well advertised on the Site. You have 30 days to Open an Item Not Received or an Item Not As Described Case.

I bought a simple item on 4th of September, waited a month for the shipment, I contacted the seller, that I did not receive the shipment, no reply. I contacted the seller again, again with no answer.
When I opened the case, the seller say that he could not make a refund because ebay did not allow him to do so.
Today again he replied: wait until ebay fixes the problem.

What is the Estimated Delivery Date? You could be out of time to use the Ebay Money Back Guarantee. Is 30 days unless you have a long Delivery Date. If you lose the Ebay Case open a PayPal Case you have 180 days Buyer Protection. Find Contact Us at the foot of the Page. Then Resolution Centre on the Next Page and Report a Problem. Escalate the Case after 2 days but before 20 days.

I know is going to be hard to belive but I have placed my order 4th of September, seller put on ebay last day of delivery 16th of November. I knew is going to long delivery from China but the seller is from USA. I bought many things from China before and Chinese sellers always been very reliable and never waited to long. This case is exception, like I said, tried to contact the seller twice, he responded just after case been opened. And that what he wrote to me:

'HI.I'm very interested don't worry. Ebay have terrible errors and even now' They say that they have problem and can't process refund. I'm in touch with them more than month and they even din't trying to do something!!! Such a shame. Sorry for this. I will refund You ASAP when they fix that. Regards'

This illustrates why it is pointless to contact a seller.  They can delay and - as here - give false information ["LIE"]

You are in charge. Open a case in resolution centre [link below] and do not close if - for example - he says he cannot refund [note spelling] until you do.   Read the instructions carefully and follow them.

In normal times delivery from US is quite quick though I usderstand a certain ex-president has reduced the furding to US Post Service and in any event their charges to UK are huge!

You have 30 days on eBay to open a case for non-delivery from the latest date for delivery on the listing so do it now in the resolution centre [link below].  Escalate the case to eBay after [I believe now] 3 business days.

Just ignore the seller at all costs.   At best he does not understand eBay or at worst he is a liar!

I bought lightning cable for my iPhone, most important this 3 meters cable. Not very expensive but important for me.
Have you read what I wrote to another colleague. That what I wrote to explain my situation:
