Received bad feedback from shady buyer

I recently received my first ever bad feedback after 150 sales but it was completely unjustified, in my opinion.

I've been selling my bike parts bin to fund my new bike. An ebayer was interested in my handlebars and sent me a message asking my if they could collect it today. I didn't include collection since I didn't think people would waste petrol or train tickets for £12 dropbars but I guess they saw that I live in London and thought they could haggle to save a few, which this ebayer did.

After I replied telling them that they could but only if they could come before 3:30 since I had to leave for work. That gave them 2 hours. They agreed in their repsonse and sent a picture of their mobile phone number.

I gave them a call confirming if they could do what I said and then we haggled and agreed upon £9. They then asked me to do cash and I immediatly said no and told them I only do paypal. They agreed and told me that their son will be on the way to pick it up. So after the phone call I sent them an offer on the item like we agreed and this ebayer accepted the offer but didn't pay when they accepted it. Keep in mind that: a) its £9 b) this person has double my feedback score so they know the process c) they agreed and accepted the offer as soon as we were off the phone. I messaged them telling them they havent paid and they insisted that they did. Again I messaged them telling them they havent and if they dont I wont be handing over the item. No reply so I called them telling them exactly what I texted them and that theyre experienced and they agreed to the terms over the phone. As soon as we were off the phone again they paid staright away.

Now, knowing this person has been acting shady and I wanted to cover my back. I asked them to send a picture of the qr code to their son so I can scan it on arrival. Their son arrived, I scanned the code and handed over the bars and went on my way. Left them good feedback too. Now I see they left me bad feedback saying I had poor communication and 'had asked for the code before passing over the item'. In actuality I was very prompt in my replies and I had been very sincere to avoid exactly this. Do I have any grounds to get ebay to remove their feedback? Is that even possible? Was I in the wrong for scanning the code before handing over the item? I'm waiting for eBay to respont to a report I made but I'm not sure I even did the right one! Sorry if this was long. Any help would be nice! Thanks!

I doubt that Ebay will Remove the  Negative Feedback being as you were asking for the QR Code prior to the Collection taking place.
