Once again eBay's stupid American-based ReCAPTCHA technology made me miss out on yet another item. PLEASE CHANGE IT for English bidders.

Sorry, I realise that this isn’t the place to find a solution to this problem, I was just venting some anger. I don’t know how I could get my frustration to the ear of the right person at eBay, and I doubt anyone would be interested either.
I totally agree that a decent level of security is required on this site, but I get annoyed at ‘crosswalks’ and similar. I also find the definition of the pictures leaves a lot to be desired as well.

Captcha is normally only used when logging in to ebay (and other sites),
if you did this just before bidding, then next time make sure you are logged in well before bidding.
