Pushy demanding seller

Hi,

I bid on two dresses and won bids.
Seller immediately contacted me regarding combining the shipping fees for both, saving me a couple of pounds - so far, so good!
Then contacted me soon after demanding I pay asap so she can post it to me immediately!!

It is Sunday, no post office would be open and I'm in the middle of cooking for my children.
I found this to be rude and unnesessary, and felt treated like it was assumed I've done something wrong (I haven't)

To be honest, I feel harassed and don't want to buy these dresses from her any more.
I always pay within 24 hrs and sellers NEVER repeatedly contacted me with demands before!

Am I allowed to cancel my purchase? Or will I be banned from Ebay?

Please don't feel bad about this seller asking  for a prompt payment,  there may be a change of circumstance that enables her only to post within a quick timescale.

I agree harassing a buyer ,  especially if it was rudely done,  is not the best way forward.

If you have bought  two pretty dresses you wanted  to buy,  pay,   receive and enjoy them!

She's registered as a business seller who accepts returns. With iver 20 pages of listings so clearly this is not her first rodeo.
The first demand for payment came under an hour after bid finished
Then 7 more times in 12 hrs, some in the middle of the night when I was asleep. Last one stated that unless I paid immediately, she will cancel the sale and relist them.
I just agreed to that

In your opening post you ask that you wish to cancel, above stating her last message in middle of the night saying she will cancel so you agreed. So I guess you answered part of your own question there.

However, messaging 7 time in the middle of the night from a registered business seller is the utmost bizarre, cannot think of any sensible reasoning for this.

She had since sent me ANOTHER message, number 8, AFTER cancelling the order saying she is sorry I feel this way (I didn't tell her which way I felt, I just agreed to her closing the orders) and that she gets a lot of time wasters and chases up after 36 hrs of bids finishing. Her first 3 demands for payments came within 4 hrs of the bid finishing
So that's a lie!

And she's supposed to be professional!

Oh my goodness, well I can tell you this. If she is cancelling items left right and centre, for no good reason, she will soon be booted off eBay. Each cancellation not agreed with by the buyer carries a very damaging defect.

Are you a seller? You can only block buyers. I'm sure she will not contact you again, as you have been in a transaction with her, albeit one that did not end in a sale, you cannot block her messages.

No, I'm not a seller.
I'm a newbee buyer, newcomer of 2 weeks on Ebay with 18 positive feedback from other sellers.
I had smooth curteous transactions/exchanges before so this stood out.

She gave me an ultimatum, 13 hrs after the bid ended (after 7 prior messages) of i didn't pay immediately she would cancel the sale.
So i just agreed. I had a bad feeling already so just wanted to be out. In case items arrived would be not as described (once you distrust on one thing - you distrust everything else from that person)

I'll be more careful in the future and read feedback by others about sellers. I had no idea!
