I bought some glassware which has arrived. The glassware is broken, glass spilled out of the box when I opened it which has needed cleaning up all over the kitchen floor. He's lucky I suspected it was broken on arrival and opened the package with gloves.
I have complained to the seller about this who has incorrectly claimed that the glasses were wrapped all round - this is a mystery as one half of the box has no wrapping and the inside of the box is clearly damaged by broken glass. The seller has offered to refund me the money for the items, has admitted they are broken, but is insisting I waste time from my day, and endanger my health in the middle of a pandemic by going to a post office to return items of glass which as the photographs of them show, are clearly broken. No money has (yet) been offered for postage or anything else.
What do people here suggest I do?
open a not as described case and when you can inform eBay re broken glass and you can escalate the case to eBay on day 4 -
