Proof of postage not good enough?

Has anyone else been miffed by eBay as a seller when the buyer has claimed they didn't receive a non-trackable item and was given a full refund, case closed. Only reason from eBay was there was no tracking info that's because none was available.  Anyone know how best to counteract?

Understand from reply the situation, just to put it out there I'm not happy with it.  A POP is more evidence than a buyer stating it hasn't been received, they have no proof of this fact so why should eBay give the buyer more power than the seller?  If this is their policy they should make this more clear and only allow postage means that have proof of deliveries!
