Bought a brand new hot tub on ebay from a trusted seller. Was sold with a 2 year manufacturers warranty. Product subsequently failed and we attempted to make a cliam with manufacturuer under warranty.
They informed us that the warranty given was null and void as seller not an apporved retailer. Warranty sold on false pretence.
Seller not returning mesaages or calls.
We paid £1200 for an item that is now worthless. How do we get Ebay to get involved in discussing with seller?
Anyone else had something similiar? What legal rights do we have about miss sold warranties?
