Private Sellers Address

Hello - thanks in advance for any advice you can provide (eBay customer service not yet available)

I sold an item and am wondering whether my address for collection is then immediately shown to the buyer, when payment has not been received?  I was under the impression that Buyer and Seller addresses are exchanged only on payment, is this correct?

No ,  after the buyer buys your item,  you can then contactthem or they you,  for that exchange of addresses.

You can either do it via eBay messaging system,  or by getting their contact details,  with a perhaps preference to phoning them.  Go to tp right of thei page,  click on Advanced,  next to the big blue Search.  On the left select  Find Contact Information,  enter the buyer's username ID and the transaction number of the item.

The buyer will also get all your details.

Hello again - thanks! I am not an avid seller so hadn't realised. Incidentally I think I may have just read "buyers remorse" a few years ago posted. I thought I saw a response from you? I may be wrong, sorry. I just wondered how to block a buyer? I had a buyer who unannounced came to my home after purchasing an item weeks previously asking for a refund and claiming the item was wrong, arguing on my doorstep about the colour. It was not pleasant esp. as it was also evening. I told him to contact me through eBay and I will deal with the matter then. I never heard again from him. And I never got a response from eBay on the matter. It was worrying and I was very disappointed with eBay as I was worried about safety. Anyway, please let me know? Thanks alot!
