Hi
I just got prevented for trying to list a saxophone mouthpiece and the reason given was that this was susceptible to whatever price gouging is. I have been an eBay member since 2004 with 100% feedback on over 90 transactions. This makes no sense to me. Please advise.
kind regards,

This makes no sense to me.
It makes no sense to me either, but this is eBay where robots rule.
Prevention of price gouging is supposed to prevent sellers from profiteering on items that are in great demand - as face masks and hand sanitiser were in the early days of the pandemic.
My guess is that eBay's computer has latched on to the word mouthpiece to treat your saxophone mouthpiece as a form of personal protective equipment.
