Please advise - what does PUOD mean on a returns request?

I've currently got a buyer who refuses to engage with me or explain their reason for starting the process of requesting a full refund on a make up bag they bought a week ago.  They have gone straight to Ebay with this and not made any contact with me at all and are not responding to my contact with them to ask what they feel is wrong with their purchase,   The reason they've put on their returns request is PUOD - I'm not familiar with this ?abbreviation - can anyone help me?  Many thanks.

The buyer has actually put PUDO as their reason - presume this is still an unfamiliar abbreviation to everyone?

That abbreviation is for pick up drop off service.

SNAD means significantly not as described.

Just to add to your book of knowledge on eBay's speak, and in case you get a case for INR , that is... Item Not Received!

Ah - I see. Well that definitely won’t apply as it’s exactly as described and the photos illustrate that along with the measurements I took. The buyer offered me 2 pounds over my auction start price, so obviously I accepted straight away without any hesitation! I’m guessing the buyer is just someone who just changed their mind and is trying it on now as they’re not engaging with me at all - might have to get the Ebay police on to it......

I won’t do anything until it’s been returned anyway - I’m not used to this kerfuffle - I’ve been quite lucky over the years.....

It doesn't matter if you think it was described correctly or not. If the buyer says it's not, then you have to send a returns label and refund on return. Anything else and you get a defect, no fee credit, and may not get the item back.

Thank you papso22 - so the buyer is always right and the seller always wrong regardless of the facts or truth? I know the buyer always seems to have the upper hand, but as the buyer in this case is not even prepared to engage with me and is using abbreviations that nobody here seems to have heard of, I’m just wondering where I stand....

There are some instances where it is worth getting on to eBay CS rather than just accept the inevitable, this is not one of those. Buyer's don't have to engage or explain themselves, they just have to open a case.

I am not sure but it is possible the buyer meant to say "Proof Of Delivery", and has mis-spelled the abbreviation.
