I have just had two items of 1880s Persian stamps taken off my site by E Bay as for reasons best known to themselves. Persia is somehow connected to present day Iran by E Bay.. The stamps are from a period in Persia 50 years before the country became Iran an entirely different time in the country's history. Stamps are sold for educational purposes and E Bay is also losing out by deleting the items. I have never come across something so pedantic in my life. Makes me consider giving up selling.

Not an eBay issue.......itl;s a US government issue
eBay is a US company
Persia is now known as Iran
The US government has an emnbargo & sanctions on Iranian items
The US government will not allow the sale of Persian stamps or coins or goods for ths reason
