I have just had two items of 1880s Persian stamps taken off my site by E Bay as for reasons best known to themselves. Persia is somehow connected to present day Iran by E Bay.. The stamps are from a period in Persia 50 years before the country became Iran an entirely different time in the country's history. Stamps are sold for educational purposes and E Bay is also losing out by deleting the items. I have never come across something so pedantic in my life. Makes me consider giving up selling.

You're talking about the company that prohibited the sale of the Dad's Army children's board game as Nazi related, because the cover picture showed three little swastikas confronting three little union flags over the channel, as in the TV programme
We have to accept that eBay is largely robotic. Also, that among its millions of users there are some who will report items absurdly.
